HMS Victory: The Big Repair
Documenting the restoration of Britain's oldest warship
A massive conservation project is currently underway in Portsmouth to restore HMS Victory, Britain’s oldest warship. Built over 250 years ago, Nelson’s flagship is being repaired to ensure that she can be enjoyed for generations to come.
We have been commissioned to produce a series of videos highlighting the work happening onboard, giving audiences the chance to learn about the restoration process taking place as part of the Big Repair project. Working with the team at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, we have drafted scripts, helped develop their concepts, designed animations and crafted a series of videos which cover areas including shipwrights and conservation.
